ACTIVITES
ART
ISKCON has created a community for artists called VANDE ( Vaisnava Arts for a New Devotional Era), The aim to attract the public and patrons of arts through quality presentations.
EDUCATION
The goal of life according to the Vaishnava, or Krishna conscious, teaching is to awaken within each soul knowledge of their original spiritual nature.
MUSIC
The power of sound is profound and tangible, yet also mystical. The ancient Sanskrit books of spiritual knowledge, prescribe invoking our original blissful spiritual.
FESTIVAL
Festivals are an integral part of ISKCON. With myriad of colourful decorations, multi-course feasts, elaborate rituals, kirtans, dance and dramas, the festivals makes spiritual progress a fun-filled experience.
FOOD RELIEF
ISKCON Food for Life program, known locally as Annamrita, actually facilitates many poor children to attend school. Otherwise, they explain, without the program the children would be forced to work as child laborers.
COW PROTECTION
The cow is considered one of our mothers, as she gives us her milk and thus nutures our health and well being. Just as no civilized person would injure or kill their mother.
What is ISKCON ?
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), known colloquially as the Hare Krishna movement or Hare Krishnas, is a Gaudiya Vaishnava religious organization. ISKCON was founded in 1966 in NewYork City by A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Its core beliefs are based on the Vedic scriptures, particularly the Bhagavad Gita and the Bhagavata Purana, and the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition, which has had adherents in India since the late 15th century and American and European devotees since the early 1900s.

Our Mission
Services provided include ombudsman services, conflict mediation services, and self-help tools. The ISKCON Domestic Abuse Coalition's mission is "to raise awareness of [domestic abuse] within ISKCON and provide valuable resources for victims, leadership and the community at large.
OUR MEMBER
ISKCON members practice bhakti yoga at home and also pray in temples. They also promote bhakti yoga or Krishna consciousness through festivals, humanistic disciplines, yoga workshops, public chants, and thus the distribution of public literature. ISKCON members have also opened hospitals, schools, colleges, eco-villages, free food projects and other institutions to practice the devotional yoga path.
